About Us
We are passionate about the sport of swimming and have set in motion a campaign for a 50m standard Olympic size swimming pool that will form and secure part of Lincolnshire's sporting future.

Sport is an activity everyone can participate in for enjoyment, whether that be competitively or as a leisure activity. As the most rapidly growing participation sport in the UK, swimming has the potential to play a big part in the future of the nation's health.

We are confident that there is growing local support for investing into the sporting future of Lincolnshire as a region and would be grateful if you would affirm your support by considering signing the online petition (on left of page).

Campaign History
Wednesday 2nd May 2007 Russell Smith and Dave Spafford (pictured above) began discussing 50m swimming pools! Four weeks later and the campaign is under way and need your help.

In context, Paris alone has 52 Olympic size swimming pools; at present, there are 22 in the whole of the UK. Australia has 1500! We would love to have one in Lincolnshire.
Main Challenges
A 50m swimming pool costs in the region of £6m, including a moveable boom (to split the pool) and after allowing for road access, gymnasium and landscaping this increases to a more reasonable £10m. Of course this is a large sum of money, however, seeing as Louth have just benefitted from a £15m sports centre....this is but an obstacle!
